Shipping policy
At The Body Whip, we handcraft every batch of our luxurious body whips, scrubs, butters, soaps, and bath treats with care. We’re committed to getting your order to you quickly, safely, and in perfect condition. This policy applies to all orders placed through our Shopify store.
Order Processing Time
• All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
• Orders placed after 12 PM PST or on weekends/holidays will ship the next business day.
• During peak seasons or holiday rushes, processing may take up to 5 business days. We’ll notify you if there’s any delay.
Shipping Options & Rates (U.S. Domestic)
We ship from Vallejo, California via USPS and UPS.
• Free Standard Shipping on all orders $40+ (USPS First Class or Ground Advantage).
• Standard Shipping (under $35): $6.99 (3–7 business days).
• Priority Mail (recommended for faster delivery): $9.99 (1–3 business days).
• Express Overnight (UPS): $29.99 (next business day – limited availability).
Tracking is automatically included and emailed to you as soon as your order ships.
Heat-Sensitive Shipping Note (Important!)
Our whipped body butters and creams are made with natural butters and oils that can soften or melt in extreme heat.
• During warmer months (May–September), we recommend choosing Priority Mail or Express shipping for faster delivery.
• We package all orders with insulated liners and cold packs when temperatures exceed 80°F.
• If melting occurs in transit, the product is still 100% effective — simply place the jar in the fridge for 30 minutes to re-whip the texture. We are not responsible for melted products when Standard Shipping is selected in hot weather.
International Shipping
We happily ship worldwide!
• International Standard: $14.99–$24.99 (depending on country and weight).
• Delivery time: 7–21 business days (varies by country; customs delays possible).
• Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the shipping cost.
• We are not responsible for packages delayed or held by customs.
Delivery Times & Tracking
• U.S.: 3–7 business days (standard); 1–3 business days (priority).
• International: 7–21 business days.
You’ll receive a tracking number via email. Track your package directly on USPS.com or UPS.com. Once shipped, we are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Packages
• If your package is marked “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please wait 5 business days and contact us with your order number.
• For damaged items, send photos within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll replace or refund the affected product(s).
• Lost packages (confirmed by carrier): We will reship your order at no extra cost.
Changes or Cancellations
We can cancel or modify orders only if they have not yet been processed. Contact us immediately at thebodywhip24@gmail.com Once shipped, no changes can be made.
